Even though Aracy was considered one of the greatest singers of the 30's - rival in reputation to Carmen Miranda - the image that stayed in the imaginary of the average Brazilian is of her in the 70's, when she was an old, grumpy and severe juror in a popular TV show.

Boteco Furacao- Bina Coquet

João do Morro - Lado B do Jornalista

Dicró - O Político
This is a part of a recent DVD by Dicró, deceased a couple of month ago.

MdC Suingue (Portuguese for "Swing") founded the Caipirinha Appreciation Society in 2004, to show the world that there is a lot more to Brazilian music than what radio stations and record companies would have you believe. Kika Serra joined the CAS in 2006, when the show became a bi-national broadcast.
